THE WINNER WALK

The Winner’s Walk is a key strategy in the sport of life/business. When you meet somebody new, your perception of the person and what you feel about them is based 93% on body language. When you walk like a Winner, people will feel your presence and know you have something to offer. We all know people who are always filled with confidence and walk like they have just won a Gold Medal in the Olympics.
The exciting part about your walking like a Winner is that people will want to be around you — to feed off your energy! As you progress in your day, take a moment and think to yourself, “Do I present myself as a winner?” If the answer is “no”, then I will share with you a few secrets on how to walk like a winner.
Walking like a winner requires that you always walk with your shoulders back, chest out and at a slightly faster pace than usual. This is the key – even when life hits you on the blind side, you need to still walk like a winner because your physiology will empower you to move through whatever is mentally frustrating you. When you walk into a meeting to market yourself or your product, people will feel your confidence and will want to hear what you have to say because they will feel your energy and enthusiasm. As you consciously practice the “Winner’s Walk”, you will be walking like a WINNER in no time flat! ALL the time!
As you continue to master your body language, you will notice an increase in your personal production, because YOU WILL ACHIEVE WHATEVER YOU BELIEVE. You walk the walk…the Winner’s Walk! I personally challenge you to walk like a Winner this entire week and see how things around you change! Walk like a Winner and you will be flying with the eagles!
PREJUDGING WILL COST YOU YOUR BUSINESS

You know when you want to turn your car on, you have to put the key in the ignition, put the car in drive, press the gas and go. Nothing changes…You press the gas, You hit the brake, You stop at red lights, You forge forward…nothing changes!
You stay consistent, because you can’t change your car based upon the road your on.
You can’t prejudge and say “I’m not going to bring my shocks today, because I don’t
need them on this particular road, or I don’t need my blinker, because I’m only going to
go straight.”
I live in Florida, where everything is straight and flat, but I still can’t say
“I don’t need my blinkers, shocks or brakes.” I can’t do that…I can’t pre-judge my
path…it’s an impossible feat!
What does this have to do with becoming a successful business builder? Simply,
STOP Prejudging! Again, STOP Prejudging. 95% of people in direct sales and marketing fail, and here’s the reason why. They “Prejudge” their Prospects and change their presentations to better fit that particular prospect. Here’s an example:
“Oh, he’s just a 24 year old stuttering kid that will never make it in the
industry so I’ll just change the presentation and make it a little shorter. No
need to waste my time.”
On the flip side of that, most people will say this to themselves:
“I’m sitting down with a CEO of a company today so I’ve got to take out the part on money, because he has plenty.”
It doesn’t matter who your prospect is…You cannot prejudge him/her and change your presentation! As you know that 24 year old stutterer was me, and I would have earned you seven figures if you wouldn’t have prejudged me.
The challenge for most business builders is prejudging their prospects based
on his/her credentials, looks, past, etc. I believe each and every person is a Miracle…
I believe every single business builder should be a seven figure earner if they choose to be. DO NOT PREJUDGE!
Show your plan and your business to each prospect the very same way.
Don’t change it for anyone! It’s the same way you drive your car. You always bring your blinker, you shocks, your brakes…every time you drive your car! You can’t prejudge conditions no matter the circumstance. Never, ever prejudge, and I guarantee you that you will become a seven figure earner and build a powerhouse business.
JUST BELIEVE AND YOU WILL ACHIEVE

As I read the following stories of world-renowned people who have succeeded to the ultimate level in their respective fields, I said to myself, “All they had when they started their journey was belief in themselves because they overcame some major obstacles to succeed.” I am a true believer in reading success stories to find the inspiration and consistent motivation needed to achieve your personal WHY in life. As I have written in past issues, you need a mastermind group around you in order to truly flourish. When I first said that I was going to build an international business when I was only 26 years old and achieve enormous success, everyone thought that I had lost my mind but what kept me fueled up was reading stories of other achievers and how they struggled to reach their achievements. As many of you know, I went on to fulfill my dream and now I am building an international personal development business that will help many people achieve their dreams. The following are stories that I know will help you realize that all you need to do is BELIEVE in your ultimate outcome and you WILL achieve it!
FAILURES…BUT NOT QUITE
* The teacher of famous opera singer Enrico Caruso said Caruso had no voice at all and couldn’t sing.
* Eighteen publishers turned down Richard Bach’s 10,000 word story about a soaring seagull before MacMillan finally published it in 1970. By 1975, “Jonothan Livingston Seagull” had sold more than 7 million copies in the U.S. alone.
* Thomas Edison was thrown out of school in the early grades when the teachers decided he couldn’t do the work.
* R. H. Macy failed seven times before his store in New York caught on.
* President Harry S. Truman went broke in the men’s clothing store he started.
* When Bob Dylan performed at a high school talent show, his classmates booed him off the stage.
Now you need to visualize your own story in this article and what will it say? You have the ability to design your own story RIGHT NOW or you can allow others to tell you what you can do! Remember, you do not want to be part of the “Should have, would have, IF Club,” which years from now, you will stop and say to yourself, “I should have, would have, if only I knew, etc.! You have the keys to succeed in your hands right now. Make a decision today to become a success story and not just a statistic! You need to be proud of your dreams and you need a mastermind team to verbally express your mission.
FELLOWSHIPPING

Fellowship simply means you need to be spending time with people who are forging forward towards the same objectives as you in life – SUCCESS. When you converse with many successful people, they will all say, “I never would have made it if it were not for a few specific people, who truly believed in me and urged me to stay on track to attain my goals.”
Did you know…
Einstein was four years old before he could speak and seven before he could read?
Isaac Newton did poorly in grade school?
Beethoven’s music teacher once said that he was hopeless as a composer?
Edison’s teachers told him he was too stupid to learn anything?
F.W. Woolworth got a job in a dry goods store when he was 21, but his employers wouldn’t let him wait on a customer because he didn’t have enough sense?
A newspaper editor fired Walt Disney because he had no good ideas?
Enrico Caruso’s music teacher told him that he couldn’t sing?
Abraham Lincoln entered the Black Hawk War as a captain and came out as
a private?
Winston Churchill failed the sixth grade?
All of these world-renowned winners fell numerous times but because of their determination and fellowship with the right people, they were able to win. Take a stand today and begin fellowshipping with the people who will be there for you during the rough times not only the great times!
EXPECT TO ACHIEVE

The initial step in a successful journey is identifying your “WHY”, and then back it up with the underlying expectation to achieve. When you progress each day with the mindset of expectation, you look at every situation as progress. 95% of people get deflated over every little hurdle in the road and wonder why they just can never seem to maneuver themselves out of the rut in life. If this describes you, you will be a statistic of the 40-year plan, which means you will be one who is either dead or dead broke at the age 65 – this is a VERY strong statement but 100% fact.
One major ingredient of breaking out of the rut is when you begin the journey to achieve an outcome already expect your outcome within your mind and heart. You need to look at your life the same way you plan a trip — you leave Point A and expect to get to Point B in a certain amount of time. When you look at your ultimate “WHY” in life, very simply expect to achieve your “WHY” without a doubt in your mind and you shall succeed.
I throw out this challenge to you for the next 7 days – personally empower yourself with the feeling of expectation and you will see your results explode! Everyone around you will feel the difference in you because you will be focused on your achievement. The uplifting charge you get will enable you to deal with all the negative forces in your world without infringing upon your focus.
When you sow the seed of expectation of achievement in your spirit, all you need to do is work through the season of waiting for the harvest and you will reap your rewards. The harvest you will reap will lead you to your WHY in Life!
CONQUER YOUR FEAR OF PUBLIC SPEAKING
January 31, 2010 by Vernon

We all know that being in the public eye is not only a huge part of running a business but also a key aspect to being taken seriously as a professional in Network Marketing, Sales, Corporate Relations, etc. Unfortunately, the fear of public speaking can make or break our success in life.
Conquering the FEAR that most people experience when they speak in front of others is most easily understood in four steps that just happen to coincide with the actual letters in the word itself.
F — Fight/Flight
E — Excitement
A — Adrenaline Rush
R – Rehearse
F — Fight/Flight
A person’s initial response to an unfamiliar situation is either fight or flight. If you choose flight, then you are basically saying, “I’m out of here”. You run from being pulled out of your comfort zone and refuse the idea of change. People that seek success and aren’t afraid of confronting their fears usually make the other choice…FIGHT! They recognize that they are outside of their comfort zone and are willing to face those fears head on. Yes, it is very scary but don’t let fear take control by running away from your dreams!
E — Excitement
When you make the decision to walk in front of an audience and open your heart up to a bunch of strangers, you are excited and eager to forge forward on your journey. The realization of being personally responsible for the initiation of your own dream and acting on that dream is so exciting that it is overwhelming for the human body. So, what happens next?
A — Adrenaline Rush. You made the choice to fight your fear of public speaking, you’re excited about this choice and now your adrenaline begins to rush throughout your entire body. Your knees begin to knock, your hands shake, your skin becomes clammy and worst of all…YOU CAN’T BREATHE! An adrenaline rush will cause you to second guess your choice of fight, but don’t give into those negative emotions.
R — Rehearse. The last and most important step in conquering your fear of public speaking is to rehearse. You must do it over and over and over again until you are comfortable in your new environment, you deliver an outstanding presentation, and you embrace your audience like you’ve known them for years. Rehearsal is the step that will determine the quality of your public speaking.

Are you famous or are you focused? Let’s start with “famous”. When people look at you, what do they say that you are famous for? Are you famous for procrastination…negative words…poor time management…What are you famous for? Let me share with you what I am famous for. I am famous for consistent, structured, focused daily strategies and techniques to live a victorious life. I know…that is a pretty strong statement! You see, I would rather be “focused” than famous.
I am focused on success. I am focused on assisting you in achieving you dream and discover the greatness that is inside all of you! Forget about being famous, let’s be focused. Millions of people world wide watch shows like “Who wants to be a Millionaire” or “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous”. The interesting thing is that everyone sitting on the couch with a bag of popcorn watching these shows are broke. Why? Because they are famous for sitting back and watching shows on other people being famous. How about we flick the switch in life from famous to focused. Stop dreaming of other people being famous and start being focused on your own destiny! You must laser-focus in on your success and demolish procrastination and create action. Demolish resolutions and create results! Let’s demolish fear and create faith! How is this all possible by simply being focused. How do people become gold medalist, super bowl champions, etc? They take charge of their lives, hire a coach and become focused.
What are you? Who are you? Where are you going? How are you going to get there? More importantly, why are you not focused? Those that know their “Why” are very focused. I am focused on my Why of changing lives of Champions worldwide through my coaching, mentoring, seminars and success library and creating massive success in those Champions lives! Do not allow famous to get in your way of being focused. Make a commitment today to forget fame and become laser-focused! Let’s get focused and know your Why! Let’s go out and impact the world one heart at a time. Focus creates success and Fame creates problems. It’s your decision…become focused and live your dream!!!
ACTIVITY VS. ACCOMPLISHMENT
January 29, 2010 by Vernon

Each and every day, all of us continually search for the extra edge to win at the sport of sales and marketing. One of the most important things that you need to know is that there is a thin line that exists between activity versus accomplishment. Many people feel if they are “active” then they are productive. This is not true! Too often people run around shuffling papers, go back and forth to meetings and are continually on and off their cell phones, but they never accomplish a single task. Consequently, they never obtain their ultimate goal.
Each day as an achiever, you need to set daily, productive action goals that are results-oriented. I personally prefer a goal partner – an accountability partner – someone you can be accountable to each and every day to make sure you did what you said you were going to do! As soon as you instill this into your mindset, you will see the results of your productive efforts flourish very quickly.
The daily compounding of effectiveness will be very dramatic for you to witness. The key to success is leverage, but you must be confident in your efforts to be duplicated in a productive manner. You need to ask yourself a very powerful, truthful question every night as you retire to bed, “If everyone did today what I did for my business, how much would they have actually accomplished?”
Always remember, a small improvement over a long period of time produces dramatic results! Begin to review your actions TODAY…RIGHT NOW! Confirm that they are accomplishment-oriented and that your mindset reflects productivity versus pure movement as activity. I WARN YOU! You will begin to see outstanding results begin immediately. Always be a truthful judge of your actions and determine if you are just being active or are you accomplishing your ultimate outcome through your daily activities.
A HABIT Part Two
January 28, 2010 by Vernon

One of my daily habits, which is the foundation of my life, is spending 45-60 minutes each and every morning feeding my body physically by exercising and feeding my mental spirit either by reading or listening to a motivational message to warm me up for the day ahead. Everyone washes their physical body and feeds their body every morning, but 95% of people will find an excuse about why they can not find the “TIME” to invest in a habit of feeding their MINDS! I consider this particular daily habit of mine to be the driving force behind my intense focus on success and living a dream life.
Is it easy all the time? Of course not, but when it becomes a habit — you will do it! If you commit today to begin each morning warming yourself up for the day ahead by feeding your mental spirit, your entire life will change in a very positive fashion very quickly. It is like driving a race car with the emergency brake on and you try to go ahead, but you can’t move. You stay in the same location with your wheels spinning, burning up, making a lot of noise, but not going anywhere! All it takes is to release the brake and you will fly towards toward your WHY in life!!
You need to review what your habits are and ask yourself…”Would I recommend MY habits to someone I truly love and care about?” Your entire future lies in your daily habits-positive or negative. You have the most powerful force right now in your hands, the ability to decide what your habits will begin to be.
